Messengers of the Muses, symbols of diligence and loyalty, creators of sweetness: bees have always been fundamental to the ecosystem and today more than ever are a heritage to be protected. This experience will introduce adults and children alike to this extraordinary animal. After a coffee or tea welcome, the beekeeper will explain the life cycle of bees, their society and the organisation of roles in the hive. Equipped with a beekeeper's suit, the beehives will then be opened and you will be able to see what was explained in the theoretical part. Finally, honey produced by the beekeeper and his jams can be tasted.

INFORMATIONS

In one of the great green lungs of Eastern Sicily, in a nature reserve far from any source of pollution, there is the family-run farm that has been practicing organic beekeeping for years, moving the hives in gardens, forests, oranges, to produce different types of honey, always respecting nature and following the seasonality. The will to bring the producer closer to the consumer and to make known the small realities of the territory with great projects for the future ("tradition is innovation"), led to the decision to open its doors to make known its "nomadic" hives.
